When you utter the words “theme park”, a kid will rapidly have a bright wide eye look on you. I was like that when I was younger. Ludicrously, my love for theme parks has limits. I choose which rides to try. I’m a flake when it comes to heart stopping adrenaline rush based rides. I would rather spend my time lining up for a boring Ferris wheel ride.

I was pleased when I went to Universal Studios Singapore a couple of years ago and saw that the deadly rides wasn’t complete yet. We only rode a couple of heart pounding rides and the rest were all intended for kids. I distinctly recall the moments I had in the Revenge of the Mummy ride. We all thought it was just a simple ride as the roller coaster is built inside a huge building. Apparently, we were all wrong. It was one fatal ride; built not for the faint of heart. You will experience a thrilling rush, incorporated with different factors like heat and strong winds as you try to escape the vengeance of the mummy. I stepped off the ride literally shaking. I told myself, “this will never happen again”. Deep inside, I’m craving for more.
