The Undead On A Mission

The maggot-filled creatures are on a mission to finally make apocalypse and destruction of humanity happen. They must consume as many brains as they can until no living human is left. So how do you actually play this game, you ask?

At the beginning of the game, you are just a single, lonesome zombie on a rampage in the middle of  the streets. As you chase down hapless humans screaming their lungs out, you must infect or transform them into zombies and add them to your procession of creatures who have a huge appetite for brains. The more living people you bite and attack, the more are added to your zombie horde. As members of your undead buddies, they will join in a journey where they must evade dangerous obstacles throughout the zombie run.

Some perils to watch out for are bombs, helicopters, cars and gaping chasms. The controls in the game are simple yet has an outstanding amount of depth you must delve into. Basically, all you have to do is tap to jump, however, the height of the leap of your zombie horde  is not fixed. By this means, it’s determined by how long you actually hold down after initiating a jump. The zombies in the back of your line will follow suit in a roughly wavelike motion, although some will jump out of sync leading them to death. That’s the humor in the game that makes some sense since in the first place, they are brainless. Kidding aside, a larger mob can make things easier in the game since it empowers you to turn over cars, flip buses and tanks, plow through bombs and hoard more coins. The buses and tanks usually contain humans, hence if you have the required amount of zombies to flip it over then they’ll be added to your flock.

As you progress in the game, the best parts of it are yet to come. You don’t just chomp down the delicious brains of the living, but you must as well devour coins and hit power-ups that’s usually represented by a a floating question mark block. It’s like a Pandora box of sort because you don’t know what skill it will unleash. Some special skills to activate during the game are the giant zombie with multiple lasers shooting out of its many eyeballs, the netherworld ninja who slices everything that comes their way, a quarterback that headbutts their way through the hurdles unscathed, balloon that makes your zombies float, a flying dragon, and the UFO that clones member of your horde.

With these varieties of power ups, they bring so much delight in the game. But more than that, there are also over 60 different missions to accomplish depending on what esoteric goal the game will require you which makes it more engaging and addictive. You must be able to get your way through each obstructions while at the same time, you must also deal with the whole gaggle of zombies following you. The pace of the game gets a bit faster as you go further so there’s no other way but to sacrifice some of your pack of brain thirsty minions to continually thrive in the game and wreak havoc through the city.

As you munch on more brains, they are tallied up after every run. Once you’ve reached a certain number of brains–a hundreds, I guess–you’ll be rewarded with a lottery ticket which you can “scratch” to win more coins and extra bonuses or perks. You see, you don’t have to shell out a single dime to accomplish anything in this game.

Like any other apps, this has a store where you can use the coins you’ve acquired to purchase permanent upgrades, one time bonuses, backdrops and even quirky hats to adorn the brainless heads of your zombies. Of course, as for social content, you can share your experience of the app via social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Mind-blowing Thrill Ride

Aside from its engrossing gameplay of recruiting zombies in an obscure way, I truly commend its excellent graphics. The claymation-esque appearance of the zombies reinvented the usual gory-looking zombies making them an absolute eye-popping, cutesy brain eaters.  Not to mention, its animation doesn’t have a streak of violence and are not ferocious. The lack thereof makes this game playable by all ages including kids. Gameplay wise, it’s simple yet clever and yeah, the special missions to tackle in the game keeps it from being over repetitive and I find it really appealing how question mark blocks deliver you a variety of special abilities for your zombies. Hence, it causes you not to be fed up with the game and nary a dull moment.

Overall, the game created nary a dull moment for it constantly unlocks diverse charm that will surely make anyone get hooked for a while.

Final Thoughts

may yet be another endless-runner game, let alone another zombie game, however this one for me is the cream of the crop. I can attest that anyone actually could find themselves ecstatic and cussing at the same time with its fun-filled and thrilling gameplay. Thus, I give this app two thumbs up; this one’s definitely worth the download I tell you.

If you haven’t tried the zany and addictive charm of , well I highly encourage you hotfoot it over to the and grab the game for FREE! Don’t get left behind of the newest craze in town and join the horde of zombie addicts.
